Theory Only
Certificate
Beginning in 2025, students who pass the theory exam with 95% and above will receive the large trophy. If the student's 4th consecutive year of 90% is 2025, they should achieve a 95% or higher on their first try in 2025.

There are 2 main parts of the theory exam. The online portion and the ear training portion. There is a written portion that is optional for extra credit to your final score. If you pass the written portion,10 points will be added to your overall score. The written questions are at the end of the online exam, and your teacher will grade it and send the photo of the grade and test to the musicianship chairs.

Pass both portions of the Musicianship Exams and receive the theory certificate and a trophy!
4 year Achievement Theory Trophy
at 95% or above
This award recognizes students who, over 4 consecutive years, achieve:

A score of 95 or above (90 for 2024 and before) on the Theory Exam in four (4) progressive levels, AND
-
Successfully pass both the Technique/Repertoire Exams in the same four (4) progressive levels.
This trophy represents a recognition of long-term dedication, musical growth, and academic excellence in music study.

Multiple levels in one year do not substitute for four consecutive years, nor does a repeat of a failed test.
